It has a lovely purple colour.. and the surface texture just reminds me of crystalline sugar!
This specimen, surprisingly, does not fluorescence under UV light!

About Me
I have been collecting crystals, rocks, minerals, gems and other precious stuff for some 10 years. My interest was first initated by a simple amethyst quartz cluster I chanced upon at a store in my neighbourhood.
And it really captivated me, I began to read up more and buy more rocks and crystals. As time passed, I started to collect even gems and jewellery, as you can see, I have quite a wide collection of gentlemen jewllery ranging from cufflinks to pens to tie clips!
I certainly hope this blog will inspire other similar hobbyists out there!
